2006 World Cup opening match will start in only a few hours : Germany and Costa Rica, in Munich - 6PM Central European Time (CET).
Germany is the favorite, but Costa Rica will aim for a surprise (remember the match between France and Senegal, in World Cup 2002?).
Unfortunatelly Germany's captain Michael Ballack won't be able to play (calf injury), and Jürgen Klinsmann will probably replace him with Tim Borowski.
Probable line-ups:
Germany: Lehmann, Lahm, Nowotny, Mertesacker, Friedrich, Schweinsteiger, Frings, Borowski, Schneider, Podolski, Klose.
Costa Rica: Porras, Umana, Marin, Gonzalez, Sequeira, Martinez, Solis, Centeno, Fonseca, Gomez, Wanchope.
Stadium : Allianz Arena
Referee: Horacio Elizondo (Argentina)
