World Cup without Edmilson

Monday, Edmilson suffred an injury to this right knee, and after the MRI results received on Wednesday, the doctors decided to keep him home.
Jose Luis Runco , team doctor said : "Edmilson has picked up an right knee injury. An MRI scan revealed a meniscus injury which will prevent him from playing."

He will replaced by Sao Paolo's Mineiro.

Edmilson was present at each game disputed by Brazil in 2002.
